Ari Lennox
Courtney Shanade Salter, better known as Ari Lennox, is an American musician and singer from Washington, D.C., who was the first female to become a member of J. Cole's Dreamville Records record label. She released her first EP with the label on October 21 of 2016, entitled Pho, and she was able to begin gaining attention. Shea Butter Baby, her first studio album Shea Butter Baby was released on May 7, 2019. Ari Lennox started uploading music on the internet in 2012, when she released her first mixtape, Five Finger Discount, and her debut EP Ariography in 2013. Her uploads continued music on the internet in 2014, including her self-released single Bound. The song was included in Omen's Elephant Eyes and in Sweat It Out on 21 July 2015. J. Cole, who was a part of the Dreamville crew at the time and wanted her to work on Rihanna reference. On December 8th, that she'd signed with Dreamville Records. In the album Revenge of the Dreamers II She was on the track Backseat, along
